Chloe Pierson received her BA in Media Arts from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington in 2021 and her MFA in Photo, Video and Related Media from the School of Visual Arts in New York, New York in 2024. She was awarded the Paula Rhodes Memorial Award by the School of Visual Arts for exceptional achievement.
Pierson works with a variety of media at the intersection of imagery and sculpture. Her recent work is highly personal, working with a “familiar vernacular of domestic objects” to frame a series of diaristic images to explore class, rural lifestyle, and how the passage of time is changing the political landscape in these areas.
Her work has been exhibited with The Evergreen State College, Olympia ArtSpace Alliance, ZAZ 10 Times Square, the School of Visual Arts, and Northwest Florida State College.
She is currently based in Portland, Oregon.
